Here’s a short but very important list of the top 6 camming mistakes make & why the majority of webcam models whether they are beginners or models that have cammed for a while fail.
If a model takes note of these and tries not to do these camming mistakes, then their earnings will be significantly increased , and also their success rate in general while performing in front of their webcam.

1. Giving up too early

Especially at the start of a webcam models attempts to broadcast their webcam they can find it very tough to receive tips or interest from the members of the site that they are Camming on to take them into a private chat. This can very quickly turn into frustration and even a little anger and annoyance , but if new and struggling existing models only knew how much money they could build up to be earning then they would definitely not give up so quickly.
Do not give up no matter how difficult it seems at first as like most things in life as you know we first have to learn how to do things better and therefore improve our chances of success.

2. Do Not Build Up A Regular Client Base

One of the most successful ways of making sure that you earn much more money and regularly is to work hard on building up a regular client base that will then be the centre of your future success in this business.
Models who do not make an effort to build up a regular paying client base that will spend a lot of money with them over time seriously damage their earnings potential.
Make sure that you you do not fall into this trap that most certainly newbie models make. One way of doing this is to take a genuine interest in your members and make then feel listened to and special as this will most certainly keep them coming back to see you and therefore grow a form of relationship with your cam room.

3. Camming Unpredictably

A lot of models only go on cam when it suits them which is ok but it does have a negative effect on their chances of earning a lot more money. Here’s an example ; imagine that your favourite TV Programme was on tonight at 7pm as it usually is but to your amazement you turn your TV on at 7pm and the programme that you love to watch is not on so you are then disappointed and go on to watch a completely different program or you turn your TV off!  This is exactly the same for webcam models as it really helps a cam girl to try and stick to broadcasting their webcam at the same hours . If it seems quiet then its fine to change your hours around until it seems to be busier and therefore work better for you. Some of the more successful models like to post their broadcasting times on their profile and stick to working those times , but naturally if a model wants to put in extra working hours then that’s fine as the members will just see this as a bonus !

4. Taking Long Breaks

One of the other most common mistakes that a model can make is to build up that all important regular paying client base but then take a long break from Camming.
It’s very easy for even the more experienced models to do this as they have now built up a good group of their regular members so they then decide its going so well that they will take some time off, this is ok if they just take a few days off or even a week or two but when this turns into longer a model can often find that when they go back to work their cam many of their hard earned regular members have given up on watching and following them. The models regular members have now gone off to find new favourite models to interact with and this leaves the model feeling very dejected and disappointed as she will have to work doubly hard at building up a brand new client base. This is the worst feeling in the world for a model !

5. Not Connecting Properly With Their Members

We have covered some of this topic in the previous reason of failure so i will keep this reason short , but just to say that another common thing that many models do is to just type their answers to the members instead of talking and properly connecting with them. Its important to make your members to feel special and one way of doing this is to genuinely take an interest in your members and the chat that they have with you .
Its very hard to completely fake it in this business and you will soon be found out by your members !

6. Do Your Research

Its very helpful for a new cam girl to do some research into what they think will best work for them while performing in front on cam. One way of doing this is to go onto the various cam sites and see what type of thing that other models have posted onto their profiles and whiteboards (for Myfreecams models) and see what is working and then incorporate some of these ideas into their own cam shows.
Also make a note of when your earnings went up a lot more and for example was it a certain item of clothing that you. We’re wearing or a particular game or different type of show that you did that made a positive difference. Likewise also make a note of things that you have tried but really did not work , another way of learning more successful ways of Camming is to watch the top 20 models for example on the Myfreecams site and ask yourself why are they consistently being so successful and therefore earning themselves real big money ?
You will also see many things that other cam girls are doing on there that are clearly not working for them and therefore learn some of the things not to do while on cam.
